BMW 188mm Ring & Pinion 3.23 or 3.25 (E30 E34 E36)
Crown and Pinion to suit most early BMWs including E28, E30, E32, E34, E36 and M3 3.0L. These do not fit E46 or later. These gears are used.
If 3.25 is supplied they are M12. If 3.23 is supplied they are M14. The capsule will need to be drilled by the diff builder to 14.5mm when using 3.23 gears. The 3.23 is more common and typically supplied. M14 bolts are supplied with 3.23 gears.
Why not add an LSD while you're changing the gear ratio? It's a good time to install and LSD while you're there. If installing locally, you will also need a differential rebuild kit. If your LSD is worn beyond acceptable limits, you can also install an LSD rebuild kit.
